Acceptance of Terms

By booking a lesson with Vancouver Young Drivers, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Services Offered

Standard driving lessons within the Lower Mainland of BC.
Borrowing a school vehicle for driving tests.
One-on-one lessons only (no additional passengers allowed).

Booking, Payments, and Cancellations

Payments: Full payment is required before scheduling a lesson.
Cancellations: Free cancellation is allowed if notified at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
Rescheduling: Lessons may be rescheduled or canceled by Vancouver Young Drivers due to weather or traffic conditions.
Late Arrivals: We will wait up to 15 minutes for late students and attempt to contact them before moving on to the next appointment.
No Refund Policy: We reserve the right to cancel an appointment due to any violations of these terms, with no refunds provided.

Student Requirements

Students must have a valid learner's permit.
Students must be physically and mentally fit to operate a vehicle.
Any medical conditions affecting driving ability should be disclosed in advance.

Liability Disclaimer

Vancouver Young Drivers is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages that occur during lessons or after completing training.
Students assume full responsibility for following all road laws and instructor directions.

Vehicle Usage

All lessons and tests will be conducted in Vancouver Young Drivers' vehicles.
Students are responsible for treating the vehicle with care; however, the school does not currently have damage liability rules in place.

Instructor Conduct & Student Behavior

Students are expected to be respectful and follow the instructor’s guidance at all times.
Any disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate termination of the lesson with no refund.

We collect general personal information solely for booking and contacting purposes.
Testimonials or student feedback may be used for promotional purposes on our website or Google My Business, but no sensitive personal details will be shared.
We do not sell or share personal information with third parties.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved within the courts of British Columbia.
